About the house

ELECTRICITY

You find the main circuite board which was rebuild in 2021 is located in the utility room. If you experience any issues (we have never had any) please contact us and we can guide you or call an electrician.

WATER

The house is all electric (green energy). Heating and water heating is run by our three Panasonic Heat Pumps/Airconditioning: 

• Air-to-Air in the living area, can also be used to cool the house on a hot summer day.

• Air-to-Air  in the basement (do not turn it off even though its hot outside, it runs non-stop to avoid condensation of the air in the basement).

• Air-to-Water in utility room runs the floorhearing and hot water aswell has heating in the bedrooms.  

 You should not need to do anything, if any issues please contact us since everything is operated over the cloud. 

You can experience shortage of hot water, if you fill the bathtup and take a long shower at the sametime (the heating pump has a capacity of 250L at 55 degrees ~ 500 liters and bathing temperature). You can see the water temperature in the utility room. It will reheat water continusly, but sometimes we have experienced that we must wait for it to reheat 20-30 minutes if 5-6 people takes showers right after each other. If you for some reason takes showers between 00:00 and 5:00 in the night, note that the heating pump runs on low capacity and you may experience to use the hot water quicker than during regular hours. The heating pump will automatically learn your preferences and within 1-2 day learn your pattern if your pattern differs from ours.

NEIGHBORS

On one side of the house in no. 14 live Kurt and Bodil, an older married couple. We have a good relationship with them and often have a chat when seeing them.

On the other side, No. 18, The owner of the house lives elsewhere, and therefore the house and garden have been untouched for several years. The car is kept in the garage and the light is on 24 hours a day but no one has lived there for the past 5 years. There is a family of foxes living in the area who like to stick to our and the neighbour's garden.

We have a good relationship with the other people who live on the road. They are nice people - primarily elderly couples or families with small children. Everyone greets everyone and we often talk to our neighbours. We will let the nearest neighbourghs know when we are doing  exchanges, so dont hesitate to say hello!
