Prior to using our bikes, please carefully read this.
It is important that you lock the bikes, since Denmark/Copenhagen is notoriously known for bike thefts (about 300 bike thefts every day). However, all bikes have premium locks and so far we have not have had any bikes stolen and we use the 365 days every year. All our bikes (but not the speedpedelec (45 km/h)) are insured for theft with a deductible of DKK 3.500 - but only covers if the bike has been locked.
We do not have any general damage insurance for the bikes. We recommend that insure that your own liability/travel insurance covers in case of accidents to third-parties (people and goods). Our liability insurance will not cover any claims made from guests. Any pucture or mechanical defects to the bikes while you use them, we will cover - just tell us and we will fix them ourself when we get home.
In the left closets in the entrence hall you find 4 adult helmets (in different sizes). Two kids helmets are located in the two closets to the right. In the bike shed you will find a toolbox with tools to adjust the seatposts etc.
